On January 13, 2024, BergheimVFD had the honor of attending the Eagle Scout Award Presentation for Andrew Himebrook. In 2023, Andrew planned and constructed a roof prop for our fire department to meet the requirements for his Eagle Scout Project.

The Eagle Scout Project aims to allow a scout to "plan, develop, and give leadership to others," as noted in the Eagle Scout requirements. The Eagle Scout Project is the capstone requirement for attaining the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest rank in the Boy Scouts of America Program.
