When the BURN BAN is OFF
If you plan on burning, The Kendall County Fire Marshal's Office asks that you do the following:
Ensure there is not a Burn Ban in place by checking their website.

Contact the Kendall County Dispatch Communication Center at (830) 249-8645 and provide the dispatcher with the following information:
- Your Name
- Address where the Burn will take place (and approximate dates & times)
- Phone number of the person who will be onsite at the burn location(s)
When you call and advise that you will burn, you may be told that the Fire Marshal recommends that burning not be conducted on the particular date requested due to current or forecasted weather conditions.
